The POPP Smart Outdoor Plug is a Z-Wave controlled adapter plug for outdoor use. Thanks to the IP44 protection class, the plug is splash-proof and can be used on the terrace or balcony, for example. In addition, the Smart Outdoor Plug measures the power consumption and the current of the connected devices and has a surge protection.
The Smart Outdoor Plug is simply plugged in between the device and the socket and can switch loads of up to 3,500W. The plug is connected to the Smart Home Gateway via Z-Wave. Thus, it can be switched via app, a remote control or the local button. The switching status is displayed via a three-colour LED on the device. The colour selection can be freely configured. In addition, scenes can be started in the Smart Home gateway via the button. Single and double clicks are detected and differentiated. The current energy measurement values in W, kWh and A are also transmitted via Z-Wave.
Switch with the Smart Outdoor Plug lawn sprinklers or garden lighting conveniently via remote control, smartphone or automation (e.g. via sensors). In conjunction with the Smart Home control panel, you can also store schedules to switch the connected devices on or off at specific times.
