The external power supply unit makes it possible to supply the radio module of the POPP smoke detector with controllable siren (2-in-1) V 1.2 with mains power (220 V). Thanks to this option, the lifetime of the detector battery is extended up to 5 years. However, the battery must still remain in the device.
