With the first door opener controlled via Z-Wave, the front door is also integrated into the home automation, especially in apartment buildings. The POPP door opener control replaces the existing door opener, communicates encrypted with the Z-Wave central unit and thus enables opening via wireless switch, smartphone or tablet PC. In this way you can get into your house without a key or, for example, open the door for your children when you are out and about without them having to carry a key.
In apartment buildings, the small POPP door opener module is installed directly on the intercom system in the individual apartments and integrated into the Z-Wave system there. The door opener can be operated both via battery and the power connection of the bell transformer. A connection of door mechanisms with monitor contact is also possible.
This set contains an electric strike mechanism in addition to the control module. If you do not have an electric door opener, an intercom system or any other entrance control system yet, you can retrofit your door lock with the electric door opener mechanism. The electric strike is designed to be installed in the existing lock and is then connected to the control module.
