The Z-Wave network is controlled via the "Z-Wave Serial API" (according to "Z-Wave Application Programmers Guide, INS10247"). This is also used by well-known Z-Wave control programs such as IP Symcon, Homeseer, etc.. So the USB stick can be used universally with different Z-Wave software solutions.
Due to the battery integrated directly in the stick, you can still include (teach) or exclude (remove) devices in your Z-Wave network via the local button on the stick, even when the PC or notebook is switched off.
