The Aeotec Smart Home Energy Meter allows you to inexpensively determine the power consumption of your entire home. Once the "HEM" is installed in a power box, the device accurately and quickly monitors the complete power consumption of your home. Using wireless Z-Wave connectivity, it then sends the data back to your smart home gateway. Almost in real time, you get a comprehensive overview of when and how much electricity you are using.
The device mounts to the wall or floor with a bracket. It is connected and operated with the AC cable to a socket or the 230V terminal strip. The device has three terminals and reports W and kWH (up to max. 60 amps).
